A tree planted near waters will definitely bring forth fruits during its season, and its leaves will not wither. Who you bear is important, and who you are is what determines what you bear. Many kings ascended the throne of Israel before Solomon did. None of these kings achieved Solomon’s level of power and prestige. Abraham’s seed had been promised the land of Canaan as an inheritance nearly a thousand years before Solomon, including territory as far north as the Euphrates River. This promise, however, was not fully accomplished until Solomon’s time. Solomon loved the God of Israel at the start of his rule, and he promised God that he would walk in obedience throughout his reign as king of Israel. Solomon was promised wisdom, wealth, prestige, and long life if he continued to do what was right in the eyes of the Lord. When the promise was kept, he was very fruitful, and his seeds became fruitful as well. It is according to your spirit that God gives you fruits; that’s why it’s important to sow good seeds because God will make you reap bountifully. Start sowing your seeds today by prayer and dedication and God is going to make you fruitful.
